Many of the children had gone to the park which is a recurring sub-theme on a Friday!

November 18th: Pudsey/Children in Need Fundraising morning
November 25th: American Thanksgiving
December 2nd: Romans
December 9th: Christmas Crafts
December 16th: Christmas Party (last week in hall)
All ideas and contributions welcome! £3.50 per family per week. Shinewater Hall 10.30 – 1.00 on Fridays
The theme this Friday was Buildings and Bridges. We had dens and cardboard boxes and loo-roll inners, coupled with coffee and chatting.
The theme for today was Books and Writing. We had a book-swap stall, hieroglyphs and cuneiform, as well as the usual, Lego, craft and trips to the play park. Another crop of new families arrived which was lovely; the more people to support our group means more creativity and opportunities for every member! A big welcome to all the new people who have come along so far this term.
Next week’s theme is Buildings and Bridges, so save up your loo-roll inners and cereal boxes – donations of Sellotape would be welcome! Scale models of the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge here we come…
